Agility Mfg, Inc. earns Inc. 5000 rank for fifth straight year

DOVER — For the fifth year in a row, Agility Mfg has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing small- and medium-sized companies in the nation. The main reason for the annual recognition, according to co-owners Mike McGreevy and Tom Ferrin, is that the company has found a comfortable and profitable niche as a circuit board assembly manufacturer. "There are a few things we know and one of those is our place in the world," Ferrin said. "We cannot and will not compete with the likes of China and Mexico. We stay away from high-volume, high-profile projects like cell phones and iPads." This philosophy of being a specialty manufacturer for electronic design facilities, engineering firms and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) has helped guide Agility Mfg through difficult economic storms.
